Calvert County's Patuxent Business Park is located 7 miles north of the Patuxent River Naval Air Station and is adjacent to the resort destination of Solomons Island.

The county's location offers strategic proximity to Baltimore, Annapolis and the PAX River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park and is accessible via major transportation networks including I-95, US 301, MD Routes 2,4 & 5, Route 235, and the Port of Baltimore. Reagan National Airport, Dulles International Airport and Baltimore Washington International Airport are all within an hour's drive and the St. Mary's Regional Airport provides commuter service.
